• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws

User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Farmer Responsibilities

If you register as a farmer, you agree to:

• Accurately represent your products, prices, and availability
• Comply with all applicable food safety regulations and certifications
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner as agreed with customers
• Maintain organic or other claimed certifications where applicable
• Set fair and honest prices for your products
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns

Customer Responsibilities

If you register as a customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery information
• Pay for orders as agreed with farmers
• Treat farmers with respect and professionalism
• Report any issues or concerns promptly through proper channels

Transactions and Payments

Please note:

• Transactions are directly between farmers and customers
• LocalRoots facilitates the connection but is not responsible for transaction fulfillment
• Payment terms are agreed upon between farmers and customers
• Disputes should be resolved directly between the parties involved

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Resell or commercially exploit the platform without authorization

Intellectual Property

The LocalRoots platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by LocalRoots and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

You retain ownership of content you post (product listings, photos, descriptions) but grant LocalRoots a license to display and distribute this content as necessary to provide our services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

LocalRoots provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform or products listed.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalRoots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to LocalRoots in the past 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LocalRoots harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account:
